Bursaries

In 2006 the Association for the History of Glass inaugurated a Bursary Scheme.  Its purpose is to contribute towards educational or research activities consistent with the Association's charitable aims.

Qualifying Activities

The kind of activities which might be the subject of a Bursary application include:

There are no restrictions placed on who might apply for a bursary, nor are there restrictions on the subject of the applications.   The Bursary Committee will judge the applications on merit;  clearly closeness to the AHG charitable objectives will be a factor.   One application may be made in each year.

£2,000 has been allocated for bursaries in 2008, with individual awards up to  £500.
